The structural design of the single ball Rubber Joint is the core guarantee of its performance, which is composed of fabric-reinforced rubber components and flat union joints. The spherical part is composed of a rubber tube made up of an inner rubber layer, a reinforcing layer (multi-layer rubber-coated nylon cord fabric), and an outer rubber layer. This multi-layer composite structure is like creating a "flexible skeleton" for the joint. The inner rubber layer ensures sealing and corrosion resistance in contact with the medium, which is consistent with the material selection concept of Duckbill Check Valve seals. The reinforcing layer endows the Joint with sufficient strength and elasticity, enabling it to withstand certain pressure and displacement, similar to the Bellow Expansion Joint bellows reinforcing structure; The outer rubber layer serves a protective function, resisting erosion from the external environment, corresponding to the outer protective function of the Flexible Metal Hose. ​

This structure enables the single ball Rubber Joint to achieve a tight seal through the elastic deformation of the rubber when connected to the Flange Adaptor . In a vibrating environment, the nylon curtain fabric of the reinforcing layer can effectively disperse the stress and, in combination with the Rubber Expansion Joint, jointly absorb the vibration of the pipeline to ensure the stable operation of the system. ​

Diversified Classification: A "Flexible Selection Library" adapted to scenarios

From the perspective of appearance, single ball Rubber Joints are classified into concentric equal diameter, concentric different diameter and eccentric different diameter types. The concentric equal diameter type is suitable for flexible connection of pipes of the same diameter. When combined with the Flange Adaptor, it can achieve rapid butt connection. The Concentric Reducer and Eccentric Reducer types can meet the connection requirements of pipes of different diameters. The eccentric reducer type has obvious advantages in preventing liquid accumulation in pipes and can be used in conjunction with the Duckbill Check Valve to avoid sewage sedimentation in drainage pipes. ​

According to structure, there are single spherical, double spherical and elbow spherical types. The single-sphere structure is flexible and lightweight, suitable for general vibration and displacement scenarios. The double sphere has a larger displacement compensation amount and can be used in conjunction with the Bellow Expansion Joint to deal with larger thermal expansion and contraction displacements of the pipeline. Elbow balls are suitable for Flexible connections at pipe turns. Combined with Flexible Metal Hose , they can better adapt to complex pipe directions. ​

In terms of connection forms, single ball rubber joints can be classified into flange connection, threaded connection and threaded Pipe Flange connection, etc. The Flange connection method can be perfectly matched with the Flange Adaptor and is widely used in industrial pipelines. When installing, it is convenient to cooperate with Dismantling Joint for later maintenance. Threaded connections have more advantages in small pipes and can quickly achieve pipe connections. According to the working pressure, it is divided into six grades: 0.25MPa, 0.6MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.6MPa, 2.5MPa and 4.0MPa. Precise selection can be made based on the pressure of the pipeline system, which is the same logic as the pressure grade selection of Bellow Expansion Joint. Ensure safe operation under different pressure conditions. ​
