Is the number of corrugations of the bellows compensator the more the better?

The number of corrugations is not the more the better. Too many corrugations may cause instability and damage to the bellows compensator.

During the pressure test, if the compensator is found to leak, what should be done?

The leak location should be immediately determined, the relevant valves should be closed, the pressure should be relieved, the compensator should be repaired or replaced, the pressure should be retested, the record and analysis should be made, and the relevant departments should be notified.

Common number of corrugations?

6 waves, 8 waves and 10 waves are common. If the compensation amount is large, it may be necessary to select a bellows compensator with more than 10 corrugations, or even two or more groups of bellows to achieve the required compensation amount together.

What should be prepared before installation?
