End Cap , also known as pipe cap, plug, cover, etc., is a key Pipe Fitting used to seal the end of pipelines. It is fixed at the end of the pipeline through welding or threaded connection and undertakes the important functions of pipeline sealing, leakage prevention and foreign object intrusion prevention. As the end cover of a pressure vessel, it is the main pressure-bearing component Rubber Expansion Joint, Bellow Expansion Joint, Flexible Metal Hose, Dismantling Joint, Flange Adaptor, Duckbill Check Valve and other accessories work together to build a terminal protection barrier for various pipeline systems. Unlike detachable sealing parts such as blind plates and pipe caps, the welded pipe cap is non-detachable and has a more lasting sealing performance. It is suitable for various Pipe Fittings such as pressure vessels, pipes, flanges, elbows, tees and crosses. ​

Sealed protection: The "closed barrier" at the end of the pipeline

The core function of End cap is to seal the terminal of the pipeline to prevent the leakage of the medium inside the pipe and the intrusion of foreign objects from the outside. This sealing logic complements the one-way sealing function of Duckbill Check Valve - the former actively seals the terminal, while the latter passively prevents the backflow of the medium. In the municipal water supply system, the End cap seals the reserved terminal of the main pipe. After welding and fixation, it can prevent water quality pollution for a long time.
